Small Credit Card Advances

Credit card advances do not have to be obtained in large amounts to be useful to small business owners. Even though most credit card advance lenders have the capacity to lend large amounts, they will still offer small credit card advances to interested borrowers. Whether a small amount of money is all you need, or all that you are eligible to receive, a small credit card advance can be a great asset for your business.

Fictional Example #1

Kay owns a bar in Los Angeles, and the city’s basketball team has made it to the playoffs. His bar has been doing pretty well and keeping a steady amount of business, but another bar, about a mile down has televisions allowing customers to watch sporting events. In the past, this hasn’t caused his business to suffer, but he feels the recent circumstances will cause his usual customers to take their business to the other bar, since the city morale is so high and everyone wants to support their home team.

Kay decides to purchase two flat screen televisions. It would take him about a month to save for the television, but by this time, the period for a potential increase in customers will have passed. Kay realizes that the best option for him would be to get a credit card advance. Although he only needs a small amount of money, the opportunity benefits in his case, outweigh the opportunity costs, so he applies for a credit card advance, gets the money he needs, makes the investment into his business, and sees an increase in sales for the duration of the playoffs and beyond.

Kay’s credit card advance prevented a decrease in his sales due to an inability to compete with a rival bar, and in the long run increased his business’ profit.

Fictional Example #2

David has owned his spa for one year. Although his spa offers all of the amenities of competitors and more, he wants to improve its ambiance to make customers feel as if they’ve been transported into a new world, or are on vacation for a day. But the costs of redecorating are more than he expected, so he decides to look into getting a credit card advance. Once his spa’s monthly credit card transactions are reviewed, the lenders inform him of the amount of money he is eligible to receive. This number only covers half of the costs of his redecoration plan.

Initially, David thought about not getting the credit card advance at all, but then he thought, “A small amount of money is better than no money at all,” and accepted the cash advance, and proceeding with his redecoration process in two installments. Although the process took longer than he’d originally planned, it eventually got done. Had he not taken the small credit card advance, he would still be running the spa with the boring atmosphere, rather than the inviting spa, whose customers have increased as a result of the new renovation.

Though these are just fictional examples, many merchants who need money for their businesses may fall into one of these categories. Fortunately, credit card advances are fashioned to help business owners regardless of the size of the advance, and can be beneficial in any amount.
